suppose, I accepted a seat in nit in first round of jossa and in subsequent round I get another seat with higher preference of my choices then what will have to my previous seat?

Hi Prajeet,
Seat allocation and counselling for JoSAA works like this:
After the results and rank list is declared, seat allocation rounds start. Beginning from the higher rank, candidates are given the choice of seats in different colleges and streams. Once you take a seat and for the next round, you drop it for a better one, the seat you have chosen will be made open for someone with a lower rank than you to choose.

If I got higher preference seat in next round and i don't want it... And want to cancel it?

First decide for yourself if you want higher preference seat for second round. If you wish to continue in the college that you got in first round then don't leave that seat. If you want to apply for higher preference seat in next round and if you are sure of it, then you may leave the seat you got in previous round.
