Dear Alok, there are approximately 5565 MBBS seats in UP including both Government and Private Medical Colleges. Now lets say your All India Rank is 30,000 if you are looking for MBBS seat in UP GMCs, based on your Category, a separate State Merit list and Category list are prepared. Now, you haven't mentioned your Category. If it is General Category, as there are only 2500 MBBS seats approximately, it might be tough. Any score less than 575 is a less score for a seat in MBBS in UP GMCs. The State Government has announced 6 new Medical Colleges in UP. Assuming that these colleges increase the seats by 600, for a seat in a GMC, your score should be nothing less than 575.
