Dear Guna,
IIST conducts written test or interview for the final selection it's related to your branch in which you get selected. Mostly it conducts the interviews.
Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST) offers M.Tech admissions to candidates who have valid GATE scores, and who have qualified in the written test or interview conducted by IIST for the same.
