The B.Com degree I am choosing has mathematics only in one semester, will it be a problem when I apply for MBA, as many MBA colleges require maths in graduation?
CAT is an aptitude exam. CAT is based on elementary-level mathematics and also has permutation and combination topics.
Even if you don't have mathematics in your 11-12th or graduation you still are eligible for the CAT.
Hello Anmol! An undergraduate degree is the basic requirement to pursue MBA irrespective of whether it has maths or not. A B.Com degree is sufficient to pursue MBA without any problem. Although, for MBA entrance exams, you might need to prepare separately for maths. Otherwise, for direct admission in MBA colleges, external mathematics knowledge is not required. Moreover, you will again have to study mathematics as a part of MBA curriculum.
