Hello Ramya,
CAT is a mandatory 3 hour exam. Students are not allowed to go ouyt for any reason from the exam hall from 30 min before the start of exam till the exam ends after 3 hrs. They will have to sit there, probably sleep if you are bored.
As you know it has 3 sections and each would have 1 hour each. So in any scenario by the time you get access to 3rd section it is already 2 hours over. Even if you rush through the third section it would take you 20 minutes. So you would have only 40 minutes left.
And for every section I suggest you try answering every question if you are done answering the number of planned questions. There are few which will take 10-15 minutes to solve. Maybe take time through and carefully answer every question
Hello Ramya,
Candidates will not be allowed to go out even if they have completed their exam in less than 3 hours. Candidates will have to sit in the examination hall until the scheduled time is complete.
Moreover, I would suggest you to kindly go through each question carefully to secure good marks. Since hurrying up to finish early will not help you secure good marks in entrance examination.
All the best!
Its mandatory to sit for 3hours in CAT as students cannot be allowed to leave exam hall.
Secondly students will face shortage of time as CaT is difficult paper so there is no scope of you completing before time.
If youhave tim eyou can rather check paper and attempt more questions where you are confident to score better as CAT just come sonce a year. So make most of it.
