The line segment that joints any points on the circumference of a circle with the center is called an Radius. Thus the answer will be True.
Also the Diameter is the line segment which joins two opposite points on the circumference and is given by 2*Radius.
The area of a circle is given by pi*(radius)^2

Yes it is true that the line segment joining center of circle to any point falling on it is called radius of the circle. Moreover double of length of the radius is known as diameter of the circle.
