As per your query about marks cutoff, you must be knowing that there is All India Quota 15 % and State government quota 85%...
Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota..
Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC , OBC , ST, etc..It will vary for each group.
The Cutoff also vary in Government, Private and Deemed University.
Also difffer college to college even in government /private/deemed.
The marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper
BUT GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND A MBBS SEAT is obtained around 480 - 650 marks range..
Best of luck

Dear Shubham,
BJ Medical College, Pune is one of Maharashtra’s better medical colleges. While the competition to get in there is quite tough, I would advice you to study hard with determination and dedication and you will surely be able to secure a seat there irrespective of the cutoff marks.
Now, regarding your question, you haven’t specified whether you are interested in joining BJ Medical College through the All India Quota or through the State Quota. Neither have you mentioned your category. Hence, on the assumption that you are a General Category candidate interested in knowing about the All India Quota cutoff, I am providing the information gleaned from NEET 2017 below. Cutoffs vary from year to year but checking the NEET score from last year may help you make an estimate of the score required to get an AIQ seat at BJ Medical College, Pune in the future.
Please find the required information below:
|
Name of College |
Category |
AIQ Cutoff marks as per NEET 2017 (out of 720) |
|
Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College, Pune |
General |
605 |
When it comes to the 85% State Quota seats in the Government Medical Colleges of Maharashtra, please note that various reservations apply at Maharashtra state level including for gender and regional domicile.
Maharashtra conducts admissions on the basis of 3 regions - Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest Of Maharastra (RoM). Out of the 85% state quota seats, 70% of the seats in colleges in each region are reserved for candidates of that region. Only the remaining 30% seats are made available for non-regional candidates.
Apart from these, 1/3rd seats in all categories are reserved for women.
Again, I am assuming here that you wish to know the General category cutoffs for both regional and non-regional male candidates in BJMC, Pune. So as per NEET 2017 trends, the probable cut off marks for BJMC in NEET 2018 should be:
|
Name of the College |
Region |
Cut Off for Male Unreserved 70% Regional candidates (out of 720) |
Cut Off for Male Unreserved 30% Non-Regional candidates (out of 720) |
|
BJ Medical College, Pune |
Rest of Maharashtra |
539 |
555 |
So I would recommend you set the above mentioned scores (depending on your region) as a minimum target when making preparations for NEET 2018.
I hope this information was useful. If you wish to know the required NEET marks for any other category or any other college, feel free to let me know.
All the best!
