For JEE Advanced 2018, those candidates who have appeared for 12th standard examination for the first time in 2017 or will be appearing in 2018 will be eligible. But if you have appeared for 12th standard exam in 2016 and the result was declared after June 2016, then also you will also be eligible for the JEE Advanced examination.
