As you may know ncert books are like bible for boards as well as competitive exams like Neet and jee mains. Learn all formulas and make notes through ncert. And key to achieve good marks is consistency. Working hard is good but working smart is better rather than rote learning put efforts on grasping the concepts and understanding them.

After throughly going through ncerts you can see other books for solving the question. The more questions you will solve the more good marks you will get.

Read each line and paragraph with full concentration. They can pick any line from the NCERT and make a question out of it. Also, don't forget to solve all the questions of NCERT along with the last 10 year papers.
