No not at all. It is not necessary that you should must have your NEET score above 600 to get any of the government medical college but instead it is for any good government medical college such as AIIMS, JIPMER and likewise. Candidates having general category get seats in different government medical colleges through AIQ counselling or state quota counselling with NEET score of 580+ in AIQ and around 500 in state quota counselling.
So if you want to get any government medical college through AIQ counselling then you must have your score around 580-600 except for one or two colleges which takes admission an around 500-510 marks through AIQ. If you want any good and top level government medical college then you should have your score 630-650 or above.
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
