Tomorrow is my 1st day of college. I've been given CSE. What shall I do today (apart from resting)? Any preparations?

So if you want to do something today then I would suggest you that you must learn how to introduce yourself in front of seniors, and what should be your gesture and posture. For this you can visit on Google or you can also watch different YouTube videos.

Dear Adnan, I knew the feeling before the first day of college and that too in CSE. The most preferred branch. I will share you with my experience. I couldn't slept till 2 A.M just because of excitement. I asked the same question from my seniors whom I was in touch at that time. They told me if you seriously want to study then revise the basics.

Yes, very much true. Since in the first sem the syllabus is common for all the branches and that too similar to your 12th and competitive one. So, the professors just to check your knowledge may ask you some random stuff (not very high level). If you are confident with your basics then just keep relaxing bro. Because i wasnt confident (lol just kidding). But I revised some important concepts and guess what none of the professors asked any such questions in their first lecture apart from my intro and my board marks.

Well, there are a few things that I would recommend that are already one here I'm sure.

Don't walk into school like you own the building -you're new and many freshman think that they can do this anyway (you are just going to annoy the upperclassmen)

Don't block the hallway with your friends (some people like to get to class quickly and you will annoy upperclassmen by disrupting the flow of things)

Don't walk slowly -walk with a purpose (mainly because it shows that you are going somewhere, but also because of the reason for #2)

Try to find a few friends, but don't go all out (desperation doesn't look good on most if not all people)

DO NOT  disturb THE TEACHER ON THE FIRST DAY (do it on the second, if you must, but the first day is syllabus day = easiest day of the semester)

Find out where your classes are beforehand, not in the last five minutes till the bell rings (this will just help you not be confused/lost/stressed)

Figure out if you like your schedule, but don't change it just for a friend (go for your interests, not theirs)
