Hello Candidate,
IIT's and NIT's are one of the top engineering institutes in India. IIT's are at the top, while NIT's come after them. For this year, there are a total of 13674 seats were in IIT's to provide admission to students. And let me tell you that for engineering courses into IIT's you have to give the JEE Advance exam.
Also, there are total of 23506 seats in NIT's for this year. And let me tell you that, admission to engineering courses in NIT's is based on JEE Mains score.
