up Mai Kam se Kam kitana %tail Chahiye for good college plz
Hello,
The admission in to Engineering in the Institutes of Uttar Pradesh from the year 2021 is based on JEE Main score. This is the very first time the admission is based on the merit in JEE Main. It is difficult to predict the percentile that is required to get seat in a decent college because the cut off data is not yet known. Anyways, if you belong to general category try to score above 90 percentile in JEE Main, if you belong to any reserved category your ideal score should be 85 percentile or above. You need to wait to know the cut off until first round seat allotment is published. Once the cut off in first round of Counseling is released you can predict the chances of getting seat in a college and branch. Cut off depends on various factors like
- Total Number of candidates applied
- Difficulty level of Examination
- Total number of seats available
- Performance of the candidates in the exam etc.
Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned the name of course in which you are seeking admission so if we go through your profile then it shows that you are an engineering aspirant, so considering it for B.Tech. course.
See this is very first time when AKTU is going to take admission for it's B.Tech course on the basis of JEE-Main score so it is quite difficult to predict the admission chances in it because the admission chances can only predicted on the basis of previous year's cut-off rankings which are not available for it. And most of engineering institutions in UP are affiliated to AKTU or MMMU Gorakhpur and both are taking admission in B.Tech courses through JEE-Main score. So if you are securing around 75-80+ percentile then you might have decent chances to get into any college of either AKTU or MMMU. But if you want to get into either NIT or IIIT Allahabad then you should at least try for 98+ percentile if you belongs to General category.
