upto how many rank in jee advance candidates are eligible

See cutoff of JEE advanced changes every year. Actually eligibility for getting a seat in IIT is 35% marks of the total. So JEE advanced official give rank to the students who have scored marks greater than 35%> But getting a rank doesn't mean that you will get a seat too. As per the number of seats available they set a criteria that students upto this rank are allowed for choice filling. In last it was 155 marks or 9600 rank I guess.
General: The Mark's between 100-120 would be enough to just clear the cut off (wouldn't get you any good rank).
OBC: A decent between 60-80 would make you eligible without giving a good rank in MAINS.
SC/ST: You guys just need marks between 40-60 to clear the cut-off.

Since the seats in IITs is very less but up to 1 lakh are eligible for counseling but you may not get branches according to your choice.Because the rank lasts up to 17-18k
