Some student got into Bsc.pass Home science in Lady Irwin College, was a PCB student and really confused what course and finding a doubt that he/she should do something better purely in science, Please suggest what should he/she can do in future, if a research mindset person is in this dilemma.

If you are IIT students in a fourth year then first of all you need to decide that in which sector you want to get the jobs almost 50% students target for coding companies so if you have a strong background in coding then you can go for it brothers those who have good POR they target for some other consultancy and analytics sectors
