What are conditions under which Nativity certificate is mandatory for a student now in 12th when applying for NEET 2020 in his home state
Answer (1)
Dear John, each State has its own definition of domicile rules and requirement for Nativity Certificate. For example, for applying for a MBBS seat in Tamilnadu, the parents/guardians of Candidates should have permanently resided in Tamilnadu for atleast a minimum period of 5 years. As per the rules, a nativity certificate is required when a Student has studied outside his Home State for a certain period of time. However, if the Student has studied continously in his/her Home State, Nativity Certificate is not mandatory because the Educational documents will serve as a proof of the same.
