what are matter waves ? explain in phase and out of phase waves using suitable diagrams
Dear Aspirant
A matter wave is when you think of matter as a wave. The concept of matter waves was first introduced by Louis de Broglie. It's a hypothetical wave associated with the motion of a particle of atomic or subatomic size that describes effects such as the diffraction of beams of particles by crystals.
Apologies but i unable to provide you diagram
But
Mathematically,In Phase means that the phase angle of two waves are the same, or are in arithematic progression, with the common difference being (2 x pi), whileOut of Phase makes the difference in the twophaseangle to be 180 degrees, or (2n x pi ) + 180 degrees.
( pi = 3.141)
I hope it will help you
Thank you
