what are matter waves?explain in phase and out of phase waves using suitable diagrams
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well
It is quite difficult to make diagram here. I'll try my best to explain this without diagram
Matter Waves :- In Universe a wave to be associated with each moving material particle which is called matter wave. It is also known as De-Broglie waves.
Properties:-
- These waves neither electo-magnetic wave nor mechanical wave
- The speed of matter wave is greater than speed of light
- The Wavelength of matter wave is order of 10 power -30 m (minimum) and maximum 1.67 * 10 power -10 m
- The wavelength of matter wave is inversely proportional to the velocity and mass of particle.
In phase:- If both signal are at the highest peak with same time is known as in phase.
Out of Phase:- If one signal is at highest peak while other it is at lowest peak Then it is known as out of phase.
I hope this will help you.

All the best.
