Hello student,
M.Sc it :
It is a two year Program. The course focuses on Software development and application. A person who has pursued this post graduation can perform in different areas like teaching, software development, testing, networking, etc.
MCA
This course is concentrated on development of applicable software and not only the designing of computer hardware and system software. The admission to this course is generally carried out by Entrance exams conducted by various universities. One can perform in various roles like software developer, Software consultant, software engineer, systems analyst, etc
Hope it helps.
Thank you :)
Hello Sir.
In my opinion, Msc computer science is better than MCA.
There are many reasons which according to me make Msc comp sc better than MCA:-
- Msc is a 2 years course whereas MCA is a 3 years course.
- Many students opt for going for MCA after completing there BCA which make it 3+3 i.e. 6 years course in total. Almost all companies treat MCA degree holders equivalent to Btech (engineering) thus you will spend 6 years doing BCA and MCA which will hold value equivalent to 4 years of engineering. Thus spending 2 years more which is not even worth it.
- Also, the first year of MCA is the repetition of the first year of the corresponding computers bachelor course.
- Bsc + MSc is considered equivalent to Bca + Mca. In former spending 5 years and in the latter spending 6 years.
- Also if you are going to go in teaching line the also MSc is anytime preferable as compared to mca.
Thus keeping all points in mind, MSc makes a better option if both mca and MSc is a choice from a premier institution.
Hello aspirant,
Difference between msc it and mca is msc it is master of science in information technology and mca is master's in computer application.
You can go for any of it.
But msc it have more scope then mca.
Hope your doubts are clear now
Good luck
