what are the necessary subjects in calculation of percentage to get admission in bsc maths honours
hey yashasvi
first tell us in what courses and colleges you are looking for admissions . the criterias for admissions may vary from college to college . but some colleges asks for best of four subjects and some colleges just ask for 50-55% aggregate marks and conduct entrance exams
if talking about best of 4 then maths + 1 language +2 elective subjects percentages are taken into consideretion
Hello,
According to Delhi University's consideration of best four subjects for admission to courses, you can add one language, one relevant subject and two optional subjects.
So as you prefer B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics you can choose:
- Language: English
- Relevant Subject: Mathematics
- Optional Subjects: Any two from the list released by the University
If you do not add optional subjects present in the list, there will be deduction of 2.5% marks. You can see what I mentioned here in detail by visiting https://university.careers360.com/articles/delhi-university-admissions-how-calculate-best-of-four-marks .
