Being a company secretary is a very important job. A company secretary has to work for hours. There is no specified work hours because different companies have different rules and regulations. Work load is also high.

Hi Ankita. Being a Company secretrary is one of the most cruical position in a company. A company Secretrary has a lot of responsibilities his shoulders. A CS is an in-house legal expert , he has to expertise in corporate and governance, securities' laws and capital markets. Not only this, CS has to give advises to Board of Directors. He also drafts the policies of company and conducts annual general meetings. a CS has to work for prolonging hours. There no specified work timmings because different companies have different rules and regulations. But, yes, the work load is quite high. If you area hard-working and workholic person, then no one can stop you from being a CS.
