To be eligible for cat you must be a graduate in any subject or discipline
You can check the eligibility criteria of CAT examination which is provided below :-
- You must hold a Bachelors Degree in any subject from a recognized university
- You must have an aggregate score of at least 50% or equivalent CGPA if you are from general, EWS or OBC category, while it is only 45% if you belong to sc or st category.

In order to appear for CAT, you need to have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% aggregate, there's relaxation of 5% in case of SC,ST,OBC ,PWD. Those with professional degree such as CS,CA,ICWA with required percentage too can appear. Even, candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible provided they're able to show proof of their qualifying examination in the form of a certificate stating they meet requirements of receiving graduation degree from principal/register of the concerned university.
