The course which you need to pursue after 12th class is LAW. And to join LAW as your undergrduation, you can choose any stream but arts (humanities)/commerce is most popular as it has some of relevant subjects and is comparatively easy. After 12th you can write CLAT (common Law admission test) to get admission in top universities for LAW programs. After completing undergraduate degree you can choose either of one options:
- You can become advocate. Advocate with ten years of experience can become Judge in High Court or
- after successful completion of undergraduate degree, you can write State Judicial services exam conducted by high courts or public service commission of the states for recruitment to subordinate judicial services, especially for the post of Civil Judge and District Judge.
Kindly note to become a judge, candidate's age must be between 21 to 35 years.
