Hello aspirant,
Go a head,
bro and take a drop if you wish to. Follow course heart. Lot of misconceptions and confusions among students when it comes to choosing BSc or Btech after 12th. A common misconception is BTech (engineering) is better than BSc (pure science), while a few confident students stick to BSc as their career goals are clear.
Some feel BTech is tough and they wont be able to perform up to the expected level, while others feel BSc is way too easy. To remove this confusion and misconceptions, we look a the different aspects, scope, difficulty level, career prospects etc., involved in these two courses and may be help you in choosing either BSc or Btech
Hope you understand,
Thank you

Please mention your query clearly. The meaning of this can be interpreted in many ways. Are you not sure about taking BSc if not able to clear entrance examination for B.tech or it's anything else.
Please mention it in the comment section down below.

Am confused to what i choose
It depends on where your interest lies. See in BSc it's all about pure science. In the final year of BSc you will have to choose one subject. Subjects that can be taken are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, etc. (if you have taken Biology then subjects like Biotechnology, etc are also an option)Other option in BSc is BSc IT (Information Technology) and BSc Computer Science. By name only you come to know what syllabus will be there. For example programming langauges, algorithms, etc.Whereas Engineering is a science of it's own. It's the application of pure science in Real Life. There's no such field good or bad. It depends upon you. Which one is good for you?Think of the longer term. For example what is after BSc? It can be MSc in that respective field. After that maybe Phd. Well there are other options too after BSc. This is the most thought one. What is after Engineering? Maybe M.Tech or job. Job? It will form most part of anybody's life. So choose wisely. If you are sure about your interests for engineering and about the branch in it then you can definitely take a drop. But here's a catch. You'll have to work extra harder to get it this time and be fully concentrated on it.If you want to go in pure science then go for BSc in subject which you have interest in.Again both fields are good in their own way. Think and choose according to your interests.
