It depends on what kind of government job you want to do. The prerequisite for a government job is that you must have a degree or a diploma. If you have either of these then you are eligible for government jobs.
Government jobs are available for science, commerce and arts fields.
If you want a job in the army or any armed forces then you have to apply for these after 12th.
