What if I qualify for jee advanced in the third attempt of jee main and not in the first two am I still eligible to apply for advanced.

Any one can attempt thrice for jee main and only twice for jee advanced. If you did not qualify jee main in first two attempt and qualify jee main in third attempt the you won't be allowed to appear for jee advanced whatever good you have scored in jee mains.
So you need to clear jee main in two attempt to sit for jee advanced.
