    BDS is one of the most popular and designated degree of dentists (doctors). The BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is the only educational and professional programme of dental surgery in India. The BDS is a 5 year (4 years academic education + 1 year mandatory internship ) UG degree programme. The admission is based on NEET entrance exam score.

    This profession includes the imaging, tissue graft, implants, laser surgery and trauma. After completing this course you will be hired by the medical college, hospitals, nursing home, health corporations, health ministry, and back office medical consultancy. You can also open your own dental clinic or work as dentist in government and private hospitals.

    The Bachelor of Dental Surgery or BDS, is commonly known as the science and art of addressing problems related to the teeth and jaws of human beings, though animal oral health is also a part of the large range of options in dentistry. As a student of BDS, you will receive training and education related to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all diseases, malformations and injuries related to the mouth and its components.
