what is csab? and how is this different from josaa? who can participate in this and how? and what are various possibilities in this?

The basic difference between JoSAA and CSAB is that once JoSAA completes its process of admissions for IITs, NITs and other colleges, CSAB conducts some special rounds(generally 2 rounds) to fill up the vacant seats of NITs, IIITs and other colleges (not for IITs).
Central Seat Allocation Board will be conducting CSAB 2021 to provide admissions into the participating institutes (IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs) on the basis of JEE Main scores.
CSAB 2021 will also be conducted separately for the three channels - CSAB NEUT( North-Eastern states and Union Territories), CSAB UT (supernumerary seats in the Union Territories), and CSAB SFTI (Self-financed technical institutes).
