What is cutoff for MBBS in OBC

Dear Veerender, for a candidate of OBC Category to qualify in JIPMETR he/she should score atleast 40% of top JIPMER Score. For example if the top JIPMER scorer has scored 800/800, in JIPMER MBBS an OBC Candidate should score atleast 200 to be qualified. Now all qualified candidates can get a medical seat. There are just 200 seats in both the campuses and in 2018 around 2 lakhs students appeared for the exam. The OBC rank that last secured a seat in Puduchery campus was 51 and for Karaikal campus it was 240. So anything less than 650-700 makes it tough for you to get a seat.

Hi Veerender
The cutoff of obc for Neet examination to getting a seat in government college for Mbbs you have to score at least 500 above marks because Nowdays competition is very high so there is no much difference in general and obc category
Hope above information is useful
