There is not much difference between BA LLb hons and BA LLb integrated courses.

First of all, both of these are 5 year integrated courses which combine ba and law courses together to form an integrated course.

The difference between Ba LLb and Ba LLb hons is the same as the difference between a BA pass degree and a BA honours degree. You will be taught the subjects if BA in depth in the BA LLb hons course whereas you will be taught an overview of BA subjects in BA llb course. The syllabus of law will remain the same. Hence Ba LLb hons is considered slightly better, but it doesn't have much difference.

As per UGC/BCI mandate, a BA LLB honours course will be required to study atleast 8 more papers (36 law papers) than a general BA LLB degree (28 law papers). See, http://www.barcouncilofindia.org...

While, this will always give you a broader fundamental understandings of 8 more areas of law, but considering the practicalities, after few years of practice, say 3–4 years, neither the employer nor the clients will give emphasis on a general honours degree.
