85% of seats are reserved for the students residing in the state in which the medical college resides.
For claiming these seats, one of these conditions must be fulfilled:-
1. The student should have a valid domicile.
2. The student must have completed 11-12th class from a school located in that state.
15% of the remaining seats belong to all-India-quota. All citizens of India except Kashmir and Andhra pradesh, Telangana can claim them.
