what is karnataka neet Cutoff2020?
Prashant, the cut offs are usually declared after NEET results have been announced. KEA will release the counselling details and also the cut offs. Now, the cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. But the formula of calculating the cut off remains the same. It is 50 percentile of the top NEET score for General Category and 40 percentile of the top NEET score for OBC,SC,ST.
Hi Prashant,
The NEET 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2020. The Result and Cut-off for 2020 will be released by June 4, 2020.
So as the NEET 2020 exam will take place next year, one can comment on the cut-offs only after the announcement of NEET 2020 result in June 2020. The cut-off Percentile for General catergory is 50 percentile of the top NEET scores and for OBC/SC/ST it is 40 percentile of the top NEET scores but the actual marks corresponding to these percentile changes every year depending on various factors such as the level of paper, no.of applicants etc. Therefore, stating a expected cutoff for 2020 is a bit difficult.
