If you have registered on or before 30th June 2017 for CA-CPT, then you have three more attempts- June 2018, December 2018 and June 2019. After June 2019, the old course shall lapse. If a student isn't able to clear CPT examination in these three attempts, then he will be shifted to the new course which is CA Foundation.

The first exam for the new curriculum including CA Foundation has already been held in May 2018. So, if you have registered yourself with the institute after 30th June 2017, you can only appear for CA foundation (new course). And the next exam shall be held probably in November 2018.
