Dear candidate,
Marks are subjective , rank isnt.
So rank is a much better way to judge.
You can get into an iit only by your jee advanced marks
Nits and other gftis however give admission based on mains rank.
Considering you are a general student
The last decent choice would be around 50k rank.
For that you will have to score around 125.

Hi vishal ,
If youa re a general candidate then to get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like nits or iiits you must have a rank below 30k to get any non core branches in reputed nits or else to get core branches you need to score a rank below 10k .
