Hey Aspirant..
Calculate JEE Main 2021 rank from percentile
Candidates can examine their NTA scores and use their percentile scores to estimate their JEE Main rank. Here's how to do it.
As a result, the total number of students who took the JEE Main September exam last year exceeded 6.3 lakhs. The exam was held over four days in two sessions (4 days x 2 slots = 8 total sessions). In each session, roughly 75,000 students took the exam. Note that the JEE Main results/scorecard only shows the NTA score for each topic, not the candidates' subject-wise marks. Using a pre-determined method, the percentile score displayed against each of the subjects, as well as the overall percentile score, is calculated up to 7 decimals.
You'll need the following data to convert your JEE Main Percentile into a Rank:
Your NTA rating
The total number of students who took the exam.
Percentage of students with grades that are lower than or equivalent to yours
Percentage of pupils with grades higher than yours
Number of pupils with grades higher than yours
The formula for calculating JEE Main Rank from Percentile Score is now as follows:
N + 1 ((100 – P)/100)
The generated rank will be the most likely All India Rank (AIR) you'll get in JEE Main. Due to a variety of circumstances, the actual rank may differ.
