What is opening and closing rank Please detail mein samjhao mere ko?

Opening rank is starting or best rank that a particular college selected and admitted a student.

Closing rank is the last rank after which no student was selected and admitted in the college.

It is separate for different categories and Home/Other state criteria too.

For Example :

opening rank and closing rank is 20 and 120 respectively. It means that the candinates whose rank is 20 took admission in it no other candinate whose rank is below 20 took admiaaion and closing rank is 120 means the highest rank of candinate among all means no candinate whose rank is above 120 took admission in it.

Opening and colsing rank are the boundaries of rank. Means all candinates who took admissaion their rank will be in this range.
