What is requirement for aiims qualified?

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, will conduct the entrance exam of AIIMS MBBS on May 27, 2018.
AIIMS MBBS aspirants 2018 entrance exam will be able to apply for 707 seats across seven different AIIMS institutions.
AIIMS New Delhi - 107 seats,
Other AIIMS institutions located in Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh will each offer 100 seats.

AIIMS MBBS eligibility: Educational qualification

Candidates should have qualified 12thboard or equivalent examination of 10+2 education system recognised by AIIMS Delhi.

They should have also studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects in their 10+2 level.

In addition to the above conditions, candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of aforesaid subjects and those belonging to SC, ST and OPH categories should have obtained at least 50%.

AIIMS MBBS eligibility: Age Criteria

I. Candidates applying for AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance examination should have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as on December 31, 2017.

II. Moreover, those born on or after January 2, 2001 will not be considered eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam.



MODE OF EXAM - The entrance exam of AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be held in online mode, as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in two slots morning and evening. Both slots of the exam will take place for a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes and the AIIMS MBBS 2018 candidates will have to appear as per the slot allotted to them.

PATTERN OF EXAM - There will be a total of 200 multiple-choice questions asked from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (comprising Zoology and Botany) and General Knowledge.
Physics: 60
Chemistry: 60
Biology (Botany + Zoology): 60
General Knowledge: 20
Total marks: 200

Correct Answer: 1 mark
Incorrect answer:- 1/3 (one third) marks

RESULT DECLARATION - June 12, 2018
COUNSELING - for these candidates will be conducted in the months of July, August and September, 2018
