Admission Eligibility Criteria for Diploma (Lateral Entry)
Passed 12th standard / ITI – 2 Year Course Approved by NVTI (Govt. of India)
Obtained at least 35% marks at the qualification examination.
Passed 10+2 examination with physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the chemistry / Biochemistry / Biology / IT/ Computer Science as Subject.
Obtained at least 45% marks in PCM (40% marks in PCM in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST) in the above subject taken together.

I have read about B.Tech (lateral entry) in brochures of some colleges including some respectable government colleges.
Like DTU offers lateral entry in B.Tech but demands a diploma to be eligible to appear for entrance examination.
What are some diploma options I can apply for?

Yes, you require engineering diploma from your state for applying B.tech lateral entry in DU.
