What is syllabus and subjects in 1st semester of btech civil engineering 1st year. And can the exam cleared by studying only 1 month

As of my knowledge,There is the same syllabus for all the branches in the Ist year of college. Core branch syllabus will come from 2nd year onwards.
It may vary college to college but in most of the cases, syllabus for Ist year is same for all the branches .

Now talking about the syllabus here are the subject you might have:

1. Mathematics
2. English
3. Basic Electrical engineering
4. Chemistry
5. Programming for problem solving
6. Physics
7. Engineering drawing

Subjects also vary college to college but the above subjects are the most expected

Talking about the preparation,you may prepare for it in one month or you may not prepare for it in the whole one year..

In all the branches the first year sllybus is same in college.  They will try to introduce you will all the branch. Since you belong to civil engineering rhey won't introduce any course of civil engineering in first year.

The course depends upon college to college. But some of common course includes-

Engineering Mathematics 1and 2, Material Science,  Computer Programming, Data structure,  Workshop Technology, Engineering Chemistry, Engineering Physics, Engineering Drawing,  Basics of Mechanical Engineering,  Basics of Electrical and Electronic Engineering,  Fluid Mechanics etc

The sllybus vary for different university or deeded college. You need to connect to college/ university for sllybus.

In the first semester, every branch has to study, physics, chemistry, mathematics and basic electrical, some labs are also there, and yes if your basics of 12th standard are good then you can score good marks by studying just 1 month.
