The fees structure depends on what kind of college are you going to. Government colleges usually obtain a lower amount of fees than private colleges.
Registration Fees:
Delhi University requires an amount of Rs.150 for registration and Rs.75 for reserved categories. Private colleges whereas require an amount of Rs.200 to Rs. 400 as an registration fee.
Fees Structure:
1. Colleges under Delhi University acquire fees ranging from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 40,000.
Usually a high ranked college like St. Stephen's is more likely to acquire a higher amount of fees.
Also colleges that are affiliaed with a private institution for maintenance purposes also acquire a higher amount of fees.
Colleges like Kirori Mal, that is solely a governemnt funded college requires a lower amount of fees that is about Rs. 9,500 per year.
These payments could be made online.
Some colleges require an additional amount of Rs. 100 to Rs. 350 for a practical subject.
2. Jyoti Dalal School of Liberal Arts requires a payment of Rs. 4Lacs per year along with some amount of security deposit.
Transaction is made in hand by submitting the bank draft to the college.
3. Symbiosis International University requires a payment of Rs. 2.5Lacs per year.
Online transaction is acceptable.
4. JNU requires Rs. 1,097 for three years for Hons. courses in language.
Transaction is to be made in hand.
