what is the cutoff marks for a girl in IIITS
Hello,
Seat allotment in IIITs depends on the cut off rank, category of the candidate, seat availability, preferences of college/branch. The cut off rank is different for each category, branch and college. So it is difficult to predict the exact cut off rank. Taking in to consideration the previous year cut off ranks for IIITs you need to score minimum 96-98 percentile or above in JEE Main if you belong to general category. If you belong to EWS/OBC-NCL category you need to score minimum 95-96 percentile or above and if you belong to SC/ST category you need to score minimum 94 percentile or above in JEE Main to secure a decent rank.
To get seat in IIIT you need to qualify in JEE Main. The qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main changes every year depending on the number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. Here is the qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main 2020
- General:90.3765335
- OBC-NCL:72.8887969
- EWS:70.2435518
- SC:50.1760245
- ST:39.0696101
- PWD:0.0618524
The cut off for JEE Main 2021 will change depending on the above mentioned factors.
