what is the decent score to get a decent branch in NIT for obc?

Considering 2019 cut off a percentile 95 or above will give you decent chances of getting a seat in NIT and branch of your choice.For that you must score 150 or above in JEE main.Your rank must be within 10,000 so that you will have good chances.

Hello Ashish, For just getting a seat in NIT with OBC Category you need less than 80 thousand rank, but with this you will get low Ranking NIT's like NIT Srinagar, NIT Nagaland, NIT Utrakhand, NIT Manipur etc and branch which you will get will be a less demanding branch like Production Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Biotechnology etc. If you want decent branch in low ranking NIT's like NIT Srinagar, NIT Nagaland etc then you need less than 40 thousand rank, More over you if you want a decent branch like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering in Average NIT's like NIT Bhopal, NIT Allahabad etc then your rank should be at least less than 15 thousand,and for Computer science Engineering and Information Technology in these NIT's you need less than 5 thousand rank.
