BTech Lateral Entry is a 3 year BTech course eligiblity for which is a 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed BSc Degree from a recognized University with atleast 45% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.
BTech is the 4 year engineering course if you are a 12 pass out or have just appeared for class 12 boards.
So based on the above eligibility criteria , you select BTech if you have just finished or are finishing your High School. And if you are a diploma holder select the lateral entry option.
