Hello,
Yes as a female candidate you are eligible to become a health inspector as this field is not gender specific.
Candidates are required to pass 10 +2 with an aggregate of 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry, biology as compulsory subjects.
There are various entrance exams for this course like JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, SRMJEE, BITSAT, IISER-EE, KCET, KEAM, etc.
Some of the responsibilities of a health inspector are:
- Inspection of public places like schools, hotels, hospitals, etc to ensure the standard sanitary conditions are met.
- ensuring the safety of the employees of an establishment
- to resolve complaints regarding health and safety issues
- is responsible for canceling the license of the established company if found violating the standard measures of health and safety regularised by local or state government authority.
