What is the eligibility criteria for NEST ?

To apply for NEST you should fulfill following criteria -
- You should have completed 12th from a government recognized university and should have minimum 60% marks in the exam (this mark is 55% for SC/ST/PD candidates).
- You should have cleared the qualifying exam either in the year 2015 or 2016.
- You should be born on or after August 01, 1997 in order to apply for NEST exam 2017.
- There will be an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PD category candidates.
- If you are appearing in qualifying exam in the year 2017 are also eligible to apply.
