Hi. KCET 2018 will be conducted in offline mode for all registered candidates. The official schedule for KCET 2018 has not been released yet, however, the exam will be held tentatively in the first week of May 2018. All candidates will have to answer the questions of KCET 2018 in English or Kannada language. The examination will be held in two sessions Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will consist of 60 multiple choice questions each from the subject of Physics and Chemistry while Paper II will consist of 60 multiple choice questions from Mathematics. Each paper will be 1 hour 20 minutes long and will be conducted in pen and paper mode. All candidates will be requested to use blue or black ball point pen in the examination. There will be no negative marking and each correct response will score 1 mark.

KCET 2018 will have two papers:
Paper I: Physics and Chemistry
Paper II: Mathematics
Each of these subjects will carry a 60 MCQs for a total of 180 questions. Also, each paper will be of 80 minutes.
Considering the candidate has to answer 180 questions in 240 minutes, both speed and accuracy will be key elements that you need to factor in your preparation. Also, to improve your chances of success in the exam, strengthen your basics. For that you will need to learn each and every formula and concept and practice hard. Another important aspect of the exam is it is conducted in offline mode, so you needn't have to bother about getting accustomed to computers.

There are total 180 questions in KCET exam of 180 marks. 60 questions each in P/C/M of 60 marks.
There will be two papers which the candidates will have to answer in KCET on two different days. The first paper will comprise of questions from Physics and Chemistry. Paper 2 will be held on the next days and questions will be asked from Mathematics in Karnataka.
Question paper will be in two languages English and Kannada. Each paper of KCET will be of 1:20 hours. It will be conducted in off line mode. For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and there is no negative marking.
