Government job related to gate examination ..so there are not exact score for gate to get government job .. it's depend upon different branches and also how candidates perform in particular year in a GATE examination...
As if you belongs to ECE branch then you have to rank score rank around 200 to get government job... to get government job through GATE examination is not easy task so prepare well for it to get the interview from PSU..

If you sit for GATE, or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, you can either pursue higher studies or become eligible for PSU requirement through GATE. The GATE score is valid for three years, which means that if you sit for the GATE exam and qualify it, then you can take admission in a postgraduate course or apply for PSU requirement through GATE, up to three years after the result declaration. If you get a decent GATE score then PSUs will call you for a personal interview, on the basis of your GATE score.

There is no specified score for getting a PSU job through GATE, as every PSU announces its own cut off score every year. The GATE scores also vary according to student category and subject category.
