What is the main eligibility to get into ISRO after my btech?

BE/ B . Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available). Minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification .

• Candidates must have passedBE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10. ISRO is strict about the CGPA or marks and doesn’t consider anything less than the given criteria. The evarage of all semesters will be considered for the purpose of CGPA and not one single semester.

• Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to apply, provided their final degree is available by July 31 and their aggregate is 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.

• Candidate with Diploma+B.E/B.Tech (Lateral Entry) are also eligible provided they have passed their degree in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10

• AMIE candidates will be regulated as per MHRD order No. 11-15-2011-AR (TS.II) dated 06.12.2012. Students registered before May 31, 2013 may be considered provided they should have 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section ‘B’ alone. However, AMIE candidates wishing to apply must check if they are eligible before applying.

• Candidates with part time B.E/B.Tech degree are eligible. However, camdidates who have done their B.E or B.Tech through correspondence course not eligible

Candidates who are going to complete the above course in the academic year 2016-17 are also eligible to apply provided final Degree is available by 31/8/2017. The qualification prescribed and the benchmark are only the MINIMUM requirement and fulfilling the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Written Test.

• First Class in BE/B.Tech or equivalent in exam with minimum 65% (combining all semester) or CGPA 6.84 on a ten scale.
