Hello,
For KCET ranking, 50% of your board marks out of Physics + Chemistry + Maths is considered, i.e If you have scored 70+60+80 = 210/300 i.e 70%, then your 50% of board marks will be 70/2 =35%, Balance 50% is taken from your KCET marks of physics, chemistry and maths and then added with this 35% i.e in case you have scored in Phy + chem + maths in KCET like 35+40+45=120/180 i.e 66.7%, then 50% of this 66.7/2 = 33.33% is considered. Then your ranking is calculated based on your total average score = 35%+33.33%= 68.3%.
Now the KCET ranking will be given based on how your friends have performed in this KCET 2016, as per last year KCET 2015 ,statistics this 68.3% would have got around 13,100 rank.
Like this the KCET engg marks are calculated.
