What is the meaning of state 15% AIQ. As i am from Karnataka. So shall i fill the same Karnataka or some other state

Suresh, lets say a Government Medical College has 100 sears. 85 seats will be retained to fill them up with students who belong to the State this GMC is located in and the rest 15% seats are donated to a central pool. Now this is the process with all GMCs in all States except for Jammu and Kashmir. All these donated seats for central pool are filled up irrespective of the State domicile criteria. If you belong to Karnataka and you want to study in Kerala, you have to opt for All India Counsellibg. And for State Counselling, you will select Karnataka because you are from Karnataka.

In NEET, 15% of the seats in a state are reserved for the students belonging to any state except Andhra Pradesh and J&K. The remaining 85% are kept for students who have domicile in that state and have completed their Secondary education there.

If you want admissions in Karnataka and have met the criteria, you should fill Karnataka. If you want admissions in any other state, you can go via the AIQ.
